About the design

Designed in three dimensions

The sign of welcome

Faceted diamond eyes on two crossing families of spirals cover the golden fruit, and continue smaller over the shoulder of the lid. The crown is twenty-four separate leaves in three whorls, each leaning out no lower than 50 degrees so it prints without supports, rising from a boss in a second color. The lid rests on the rim by its beveled underside.
