About the design
Designed in three dimensions
Pressed like a mooncake
Sixteen scallops shape the box, with the cavity following them at an even wall. The lid is carved like a mooncake mould: a scalloped border, cloud scrolls, a ring of petals and a raised full moon with the jade rabbit cut into it, all in a second color as part of the one-piece lid. The moon is also the grip.
