About the design

Designed in three dimensions

Cut like a jewel

The navy body is a sixteen-sided barrel of flat facets, and each facet is matched inside at a constant wall. The sage lid is cut as the crown of a round brilliant: table, star, kite and girdle facets at a 34.5 degree crown angle. The table and eight star facets print in a second color as part of the same lid, which rests on the rim by its beveled underside.
