The lovebird cage box
Two lovebirds. One cage.
A white vintage birdcage with gold bars and bands on a stepped gold plinth. At the front two white lovebirds lean beak to beak on a gold perch under a gold heart; at the back, a little arched door with a heart latch. The bell-dome lid lifts by its gold ball and ring.

About the design
Designed in three dimensions
Two lovebirds, one cage
Thirty-six bars rise between three bands from a stepped plinth. At the front two lovebirds lean beak to beak on a perch under a heart, the bars parting round them; at the back an arched door carries a heart latch. The bars, bands, plinth, door, perch and heart print in a second color as part of the body, leaving the birds in the cage color. The lid is the bell dome: ribs converging on a ring, under a ball and a hanging ring pointed in its opening so it prints without supports, all in the same second color. It rests on the rim by its beveled underside.
