About the design

Designed in three dimensions

Two swans, one heart

Pearl strings, hanging lace swags and fine pleats are sculpted round the scalloped body. On the lid two swans bow their necks into a heart, with feathered wings, a pearl border and water ripples, all in a second color as part of the one piece. The interlocked rings inside the heart stand as the knob. The lid rests on the rim by its beveled underside.
